Miriam Voss

I'm an award-winning photographer based in New York, USA, with over ten years of experience shooting weddings, portraits, commercial campaigns, and editorial work.

I studied photography at NYU before spending several years assisting established photographers across Europe and North America. My work has been published in Vogue US, Sunday Life, and various international lifestyle publications.

My approach is calm, unhurried, and deeply personal. I believe every person and every story deserves to be seen with intention and care.

How I Work

Presence Over Perfection

I don't manufacture moments — I document them. The best images come from being genuinely present, building trust, and staying patient until the right moment arrives naturally.

Light as the Medium

Every decision I make on a shoot begins with light. Natural light, golden hour, overcast skies — understanding light is the foundation of every image I make.

Quiet Confidence

I aim to be the least-noticed person in the room. Unobtrusive, efficient, and confident — so you can focus on the moment while I focus on preserving it.
